Buttery beef paired with savory sauce will never get out of style. This simple Filipino favorite is packed full of superb flavor and most especially, garlic. All you need to do is toss everything into one pan, sauté, serve, and it is ready to be tucked into. Although it only takes a few pantry staples to make, the flavors of the dish are on par with those that take 20 to make.

Yields 2-3 servings
Ingredients
300 grams beef tenderloin, chopped into bite-size pieces
½ teaspoon pepper, ground
1 tablespoon cornstarch
7 cloves garlic, minced or sliced
½ can button mushroom, cut in half
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon butter
Garnish
Green onions, chopped
Procedure
Season the beef with pepper.
Coat the beef with cornstarch.
In a bowl, make the sauce by mixing soy sauce, oyster sauce, Worcester sauce, and brown sugar together.
In a pan, heat some oil.
Fry the minced garlic until golden. Place this in another dish and set aside.
Add the rest of the oil into the pan and sear the beef.
Pour the sauce into the pan and let the beef cook a little more.
Add the butter to the pan.
Mix in the mushroom and fried garlic until cooked.
Garnish with green onions, serve and enjoy!
