Last week, Yellow Bakery PH sent me the most stunning chocolate sourdough loaf with candied orange peels. Once I smelled its wonderful aroma, I immediately thought of using it to whip up some french toast. However, with all my academic assessments piling up, I could not bring myself to wake up 30 minutes earlier in the morning after studying late into the night just to gather the ingredients and make myself some. Therefore, I found a better way to make this vision come true. I decided to make a french toast bake that can be kept in the refrigerator and heated when needed. For this recipe, all you need to do is mix, bake, and store, thus making it a perfect and unique on-the-go breakfast recipe for those who have a sweet tooth early in the morning.
You can order your very own sourdough loaf from Yellow Bakery PH.
